On this page we will explain how to update the music CD data (Gracenote database) for your HDD navigation system. The procedure is outlined in the following illustrations. This will complete the music information update process.Before performing this update, please read all warnings and instructions described below, and make sure you understand them. Please perform the update procedure by yourself.
Mitsubishi Motors does not provide the data in CD media. Downloading the update data is provided free of charge, but you must bear any Internet connection fees and the cost of blank CD media used for writing the data. Mitsubishi Motors plans to offer update data once per year; however, the timing and the frequency of the updates may be subject to change. This update data contains information on music CDs released during specific periods and is frequently searched by Japanese users on the Gracenote website; it does not contain all music information for all regions. Consequently, music information for some CDs may not exist in the data.
The music information for this update was selected by Gracenote Inc. The content of the update data is not publicly available, so Mitsubishi Motors cannot respond to any inquiries concerning specific music information. We ask for your understanding in this matter. The data in this update was compiled and prepared by Gracenote Inc.

Click the 'View' tab and uncheck the 'Hide extensions for known file types' option (Windows only).There are two datas: 'Data1'Data2',and these cannot be saved in same CD-R or CD-RW media. Confirm that the '.UDT' '.UDX' and '.TXT' files were correctly written to the CD-R or CD-RW created in step 5.

To prevent this, turn off any devices that use the battery, such as lights, air conditioner, etc., and perform the update with leaving the engine running. Turn the engine switch to the ON position. Power up the MMCS and display the map or AV screen.

Press the 'MODE' key to display the AV MODE screen. The AV MODE screen will be displayed.
